  1. This is the 1:72 Academy USN EA-18G "ShadowHawks". The build is straight out of the box and airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and MIG paints. I have left this aircraft pretty clean, although I saw a picture of an EA-18 with almost green (I have used RML Grey) looking beaten up drop fuel tanks. I have added them to this model to try and break up the colour scheme a bit. Although you cant see it here in the photos - the iconic "ShadowHawks" wording is down either side of the drop fuel tanks. Here is a top down view into the cockpit - I have painted the internal cockpit in

  3. I saw a MH53-E fly over me when I was in holiday in Florida last year and thought I would love to build one. Managed to get close and a take a couple of pictures, she was quite a dirty beast so I have tried to show here as I saw her. So again this one is straight out of the box with no extras, but I did have a problem with the rotor head and you can see in the pictures! She also has the framework in place for towing (I think) the mine clearing sled. My picture taking is like my modelling I'm getting there!
  4. Heres my version of infamous F14A Tomcat Jolly Rogers - 1:72 scale low visibility Hasegawa kit. Built straight out of the box with no extras. Little bit dirty, I used a thinned down mixture of tamiya black and brown paint to archive this. I think it came out pretty good hope u like it
  5. Here's my 1:72 scale US Navy A-E6 Intruder - decked out as VA-36 Roadrunners - 1993 USS T Rooservelt. It's the Tamiya kit built straight from the box. Heres looking from above Used the black basing then marbling effect with a pale blue grey Air paint, followed by Future for the varnishing. Went a bit darker then I was hoping for, but was overall happy with the colour.
  6. Just finished and this is my first posting - hope the link works!
