Hasegawa 1/72 macross kits

Recommended Posts

One thing about the hasegawa macross series i don't get is why didn't they tool a VF-11 when they were doing all the others? Apart from a VF-5000 a VF-11 in injection 1/72 plastic is my most wanted sci fi kit.

I mean how cool is the VF-11, then you add fast packs and thats sweet and then go the full armour route and oh mama thats is one bad *** bird.

Some great looking stuff Trigger! Here is my YF-21 sort of in progress. I think I'm going to give it Polish markings.

Klywell, I love all the different profiles, I ordered the decal set from the SM site the other day

That, sir, is a thing of beauty!

Wooo i got my grubby hands on a VF-0B!!!!! :monkeydance: And i finally watched all of Macross 0 after getting that too. My love for all things macross has been rekindled after dying out in the interlude between Plus and 0

No so that i don't mess this up i'm gonna try to do a custom scheme on an old hase VF-1J that i build ages ago and turned out crappy.

Still aching for a VF-11 though, i'd buy a whole squadron of those.

If you want a VF-11 model kit, your options are pretty limited just now...

there's the Studio Half-Eye resin fully transformable kit, or the incredibly small Bandai 1/144 2 pack snap-together set which has one VF-11 Thunderbolt in Battroid mode and another in fighter mode.

Just recieved my VF-0D and YF-19 from HLJ today, and I am excited to say the least. I never was a really big Macross fan, but the aircraft have some great lines. I am looking forward to doing some custom paint schemes on these two...
