I'm finishing up the cockpit of my -410 and I need to know the arrangement of the harnesses. The reference pictures I have of the cockpit are all of the instruments and sidewalls. I don't have any pictures of the seats with the harnesses.

Does the pilot's harness anchor to the bulkhead behind the seat or to the seat back? Also, does the harness drape over the seat back or go through it? The kit seat has 2 recessed slots in the seat back that makes me think that the harness actually sent through the seat rather than draping over the top....

Can anyone help me clear this up?

Chris

I have the CMK cockpit for my 410 and it has the seat belts molded on. On their seats, the belts go over the top and anchor on the bulkhead, but they anchor below the top of the seat, so when installed, you cant see the anchor point. While it isnt a photo, which would be best, I hope it helps!

The Me 410 in the RAF Museum does not have lap or shoulder belts, but the drawings (factory) show the shoulder belts feeding through a slot just below the top of the seat and presumambly anchored somewhere behind the seat. I have scanned the drawing, but for now at least Imageshack is not letting me upload it. As soon as I sort the problem, I will post the scan.
