f14peter Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 IIRC, there were some A-6As painted a single green over white scheme in the Vietnam War, as were a few F-4s (Bs or Js) as an experiment. As I recall, one reason it wasn't adopted was that the dark aircraft were harder to see on the boat at night. Link to post Share on other sites
