Richard E
I'll step up and confess first..... Welsh Models Gulfstream IV - been promising myself one for years. Italeri Me Bf-110 Nightfighter Airfix Shorts Tucano Model Alliance UK Air Arm Updates - Sheets 2 and 3 FAA Models Hunter PR10/GA11 Resin Conversion Reheat Models 1/72nd scale data placards - sadly not being reissued, they were just clearing out old stock :( Edited November 18, 2006 by Richard E
Graham T
Neomega Hawk T1 & Tornado cockpits. Guess I got off pretty light but to be frank, there wasn't anything else that took my eye. I wasn't tempted by Hannants offer of 10 (TEN!) of their new Meteors for £100.00; who, in the name of all that's holy, buys ten of the same kit at once??!! :(
peebeep
I bought a Revell Fw200 which is ab fab and a near half price B-25J from the nice folks at Wonderland Models. peebeep
Greg Buckley
A new work lamp, one of the polarised ones and its fantastic, makes one hell of a difference. 1/32 Cutting Edge F-4S conversion set 1/48 F-104G from the lovely as ever Bill Clark, now the happy owner of Beaneys in Sittingbourne. Just call him Arkwright! A2 cutting mat and some various small odds and sods! As for who would buy the meteors, well some one in front of me at Hannants picked up 2 sets of 10!!!!!! And it wasn't Bill either!!!!!! Edited November 19, 2006 by Greg Buckley
Cloggy
1/48: Italeri A-10 (and very nice it is too! Yah-boo-sucks to all those habitual Italeri-knockers) 1/48: Revell Rafale B 1/48: Hasegawa F-4EJ 'Mig Silhouette' (thanks Wonderland!) 1/48: Reheat P-38J/L detailing set 1/48: Belcher Bits CH-146 conversion sets (x2) 1/48: Model Alliance Rafale / Mirage F1 decal sheet. An excellent day's shopping Edited November 19, 2006 by Cloggy
gunpowder
NEARLY bought the 1/24 Lancaster, but wandered around for a bit , and decided it was just too big. Ended up buying an Aeroclub 1/72 Shackleton conversion kit. Much smaller and cheaper! Edited November 19, 2006 by gunpowder
geedubelyer
Hi all, I bought odds 'n' sods mostly. Flex-I-File sanding pads, MDC 1/48th rivetter, a couple of scribing tools, some Valejo Model-Air and, um.....oh yes,....I picked up an E-bay win.......(Black Knights Tomcat )
Andy Mullen
I managed to get replacement decals from Whirlybird decals for my 1/72 "Black Magic" Comet Racer. No kits but I was tempted by the HA Mossie, but just too big. From Little Cars I got my 6 monthly Micro Mesh Craft Kit, cotton gloves and an Angle Guillotine. From one of the book vendors - Erik Hildebrandts "Anytime Baby!"
Bennygmanuk
1/32 Revell Tonka and some Xtracrylic paints Oh, I'm really looking forward to seeing THAT build . Steve. My list to follow when I've found it all.
Bennygmanuk
Ok, first the good new (financially speaking) only one kit - Heller F-84G, £3 from Collectakit. Also had my eye on an Airfix F-111 & Mystere but they'd gone when I went back. As for the rest, well I disgraced myself a bit... Books: Osprey Modelling the Mosquito. Mushroom Orange series: Lysander. Warpaint: Mosquito (anyone notice a pattern here - damn you 633sqn!) Warpaint: Canadair Sabre Tools: Flexible scale rulers from SAM (and the latest issue). Small rotary tool - not expecting much from £20, but the 0-18000rpm spec' attracted my attention. Expect it'll burn out pretty quickly. Can of TS-14 (latest attempt at an Alclad undercoat) new hose for my Iwata (blew one apart last week) New set of drills for my pin vice Historex circular punch & die set Masterclass NMF DVD Accessories: Aires Mossie mkVI engine set (honestly, who schedules a film like that the day before SMW? ). Heritage aviation SHAR FA2 conversion 1/72 scale (looks a bargain for £5 inc decals). not sure if I should mention this, but hopefully I'm amongst friends; White Ensign 1/600 etch set for the Airfix HMS Belfast (sorry). Looks like fun, that one. if that wasn't bad enough when I got home my girlfriend had taken delivery of two packages from Hannants and Amazon (oh, the shame of it all). 'in the dog house' just doesn't cover it! Steve. ps only joking - she's no trouble really
JohnB (Sc)
Thanks for ensuring Wonderland ran out of B-25s before I succumbed Peebeep, I really don't need one, but the temptation ! (What make is that 'chariot of fire'?) I got two of David Hannant's Meteors. They were the last of the pile at the time, so maybe I should also thank whoever bought 20 at once. Not sure I could have resisted an offer of ten. Also a Revell Eurofighter at Wonderland - not really my era being JABGA. Just resisted the big Tornado offer at Wonderland - have too many 1/32 in store. There were some great quick clamps - carbon rods in jam fit slides which I couldn't resist, glues, paints, a coupe of second hand decal sets - at last I can do my Blue Angels F4J. Far too many books, and I blame Alan Hall for talking me into filling some of my Warpaint reference gaps. It's lucky both my birthday & Christmas are just around the corner. Well, my family is always asking for extra gift ideas - juts happen to have these bags tucked away........
Phil_J
Blimey - my haul seems small in comparison! 1/48 Hasegawa F-16 Agressor boxing - which I now realise doesn't have an ALQ-188 (blast!) 1/48 Cutting Edge decals for F-15E Iraqi Freedom Xtracrylic paints ...missed the boat when it came to getting a Revell Typhoon from Wonderland - they'd all gone when I decided I wanted one!
