Skyking
I think he captured it to perfection. It looks like the real thing, and that's what it's all about. His worries about imperfections are needless, as no real airplane is without imperfections. I had to chuckle that he could build such a wonderful model, yet he didn't have the means of vacu-forming a blown canopy. I thought that was an interesting dichotomy. jrallman
He thinks experts will find flaws on that beautiful piece of artwork he has created? If so, then I'm sure they could find "flaws" on a real spitfire! That model is stunning and looks fantastic in bare metal. I know there are late mark spits in bare metal, but to see a Mk I in NMF is just plain cool!
Miccara
And I whine about a 1/48 Tamiya build....
RCAFFAN
Oh no!!! Its parked with the flaps down!!! :D Beautiful work and it could be parked with the flaps down, just usually wasn't :D Very nice work but I am a little disappointed that he couldn't manage to blow a late canopy...the guys restoring a Seafire here managed to do one from a wooden form in 1 to 1 scale so it is certainly possible. Certainly deserves a spot in the museum Edited December 7, 2006 by RCAFFAN
