gkicsak
All, Since I have finished my Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M Skyhawk, I have decided to start another. This time a A-4G from the Royal Australian Navy. I have finished the cockpit about a week or so ago and finally posting it now. I will take some more photos and post soon. gkicsak
All, I have done a little bit more work over the last week. It is primed, pre-shaded and first base colour is down. Hope to get 2nd camouflage colour down tonight. Here is a photo of what it will look like when it's finished. Cheers, Gabe Edited December 19, 2006 by gkicsak
gkicsak
All, Quick update with 2nd camouflage colour down. This is done free-hand. Just the red band around the intakes and under the flaps before gloss coat for decals. Cheers, Gabe Edited December 20, 2006 by gkicsak

gkicsak
All, Thanks for the kind words so far. Quick update - it's got the decals on. Time to give her another gloss coat, sludge wash, satin coat and put the last of the pieces on. Cheers, Gabe :)
aidy
Looks great, Gabe! Did you use Tamiya or Testor for the camo?
gkicsak
Aidy, I used ModelMaster Enamels. The camouflage scheme was done free hand. It's the second time I have ever done this. BTW - this is only my 3rd model I have built. Cheers, Gabe
