frankycee
Are these Link paint markers any good at detailing cockpits / instrument panels? Anyone ever use them on planes amd/or sci-fi kits? Also, did anyone use finepoint panel line markers, seems like some sci-fi modelers use them for making panel lines on gundam / robotech kits... anyone? ScottD
I got two of the Gundam markers from HLJ back a couple months ago and experimented with them a bit. I found that they are just bout useless on bare plastic, as they will wipe off if you touch them. The other problem is that if you want to use them to do panel-lines (at least in 1/48 scale) they are too thick IMO. I got a pigment pen from Michaels Art/Crafts Stores that works much better and got the 005 size pen to do panel lines, which is a .20mm width pen.
