thegoodsgt Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 Jeff, I'll just add my compliments, too. We tend to paint black aircraft too black (!), but you've scaled down the color just right. As a figure painter myself, the most important thing that I've brought to aircraft modeling is the maxim, "Paint what you see, not what you know is there." In this case, you knew the F-117 is black, but it actually appears as a dark gray to the eye. Very effective! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The best part of it is the way you made a monotone, one-color paint job look so interesting, real and weathered. A masterpiece!
