yardbird78 Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 I have made some headway on my Monogram F-84F Thunderstreak. This is the instrument panel that has been airbrushed flat black, then drybrushed with silver and had drops of Future placed in the instruments to simulate the faces. The finished cockpit for bird #1 is on the right. The tub, IP, control stick, hydraulic pump and seat for bird #2 are on the left This is the JATO pack (actually RATO) and the two speed brakes. I drilled out all 188 holes on each panel with a .017 in drill. A #11 X-acto blade is .021 inch thick The major components.
