Thanks everybody for yours comments

You are not human!!!

Yes, I’m human, like you. Not an E.T :crying2:

how did you get such realistic "rust" effect? Especially on the gear doors & the cannon?

I only use washes. One dark, generally Sépia, and a second brown, Burnt Sienna or Raw Humber, depending of effect that I want.

… even if the photos drop away as they unfortunately do with so many builds on here

I’m agree with you. It’s a pity. But I suppose these persons have reasons to remove their pics.

I think it’s a good idea to save or to print their works before they disappear.

Now when you start painting the top of the plane, do you mask the bottom in any way so you won't over spray what is finished?

Yes. With floating masks. Like this :

One question, after you is finished with pipes on landing gear, you paint whole thing for example gray, but how do you make pipes silver again? Do you repaint pipes with brush, og are you just scrapping away gray paint from them?

Yes, I repaint pipes with brush. Slowly and with several thin coat.

No cigarettes, no coffee and the silence at home. :D

If i have to be crittical, i noticed one thing. Main landing doors is to low. Ending of landing gear doors should be same hight as middle of wheel. ;)

That’s right. The doors were too large but, I was lazy to rework them. :yahoo:

A coat of gloss varnish and putting in Carpena decals with Daco Strong softer . :bandhead2:

The markings were made with stencils, even crosses.

Hello,

Thanks everybody. It’s a real motivation to finish this model.

The painting is almost finished. Remains some stains of oil to make.

First, a wash is applied. Sépia for the green, Raw Umber for the dark brown and Asfalt for le light brown :
