Sig Saur & Son
Andrew, With VF-103 she supposely displayed AA-216. I have no record of it in my files. She was with VF-101 in '88-89, AD-216?
Sig Saur & Son
During October 1990, 162916 was photographed serving with VF-143. This must have been just prior to deploying for OPERATION DESERT SHIELD.
Sig Saur & Son
On January 14th, 2004, 162916 launched from Oceana armed with six, yes six live AIM-54Cs. It marked the first time an operational squadron launched six AIM-54s. Five found their targets. Pretty impressive. Note the OIF scoreboard depicting 35 missions flown. Mr. BuNo
F-14B apr-96 NAD Norfolk (VA) Cheers Nico What does NAD mean? is that some kind of short term storage? Hi, NAD should read NADEP=Naval Aviation Depot It means 162916 was seen in apr 1996 at NADEP Norfolk. (possibly for the upgrade program to F-14B(U) but that is unconfirmed) Cheers Nico
