I carried my 35mm everywhere I possibly could and shot thousands of photos during my years in the Navy. As long as they didn't fly right over the ship, everything was okay. They just came out to take photos. They'd get close enough to see us giving them the one finger salute. Ya know,"You're #!" The May didn't get as close as the Bear. When the Bears flew by, you could feel your guts vibrating from the props. Here's another Bear escort. I inherited this one from the Photoshop on the Midway.
