DutyCat
Okay, so I am working on this OEZ 1/48 SU-7. No color call out for the bombs in the instructions. Another ARCer said blue/ gray, which gets me in the ball park, maybe, except that he posted me a pic which appears to show white bombs with some blue striping. They look like inert training shapes outside the schoolhouse, but he says inert rounds are black? The OEZ Mig-21(another kit and aircraft of the same vintage that I have in my stash) instructions call for Humbrol Khaki 72 for the bombs. So I have no idea what color to paint these bombs or what striping to apply. Also, the SU-7 had JATO bottles. Color call out appears to be HF1 in the instructions. Unfortunately, there is no HF1 in the instruction sheet color tableau. HF1 sounds like an old Humbrol designation. If anyone knows anything specific about 60s/70s Russian weapons and can point me to some references, I would really appreciate it!
