Su-34
Im too lazy to go and buy some thinner (its saturday btw) We have some nail polish remover, works like a dream. So, can it be used instead of thinner..? Thanks!
RPG
Be careful - this stuff is acetone, and depending on what sort of airbrush you use, it could damage certain non-metallic components such as O-rings. I don't know which makes/models of airbrush might be affected... Very pungent fumes too, take usual precautions with air extraction and/or wearing a good respirator with special filters for gases/vapours. regards, rpg
FlyingSnowmew
The additives in nail polish remover may also affect the paint in negative ways. I wouldn't risk it. I would just go out and buy some thinner.
is it windy yet?
I wouldn't use it the acetone is pretty hot, and can easily damage styrene and as the others have mentioned your airbrush. Ron

MikeC
It's good for removing Superglue though.
dreammh
I do use them as thinner sometimes. No problem at all. And I use them mainly for cleaning my airbrush. Edit: I just read that you don't have an airbrush. In that case DO NOT use acetone. Hand-brushing them on will damage plastic. Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
I only use it on CA glue.
Paul T
Be aware also ,some nail polish removers contain oils and ingredients to nourish and strengthen the fingernails themselves. These may cause adverse reactions to your paints.I would hold off and use proper thinners. madmike
I would not use nail polish remover either. A can of cheap thinners from a hardware or paint store is the best option and cheaper by volume too. <_< MikeJ
