Chris Kethan
Here is my second entry. I know it's not accurate, but this was strictly an OOB build while I waited for parts of my Me-410 to dry. I just had some fun with this one.... Here are some completed shots. I apologize for the photos. I'm not much of a photographer. I took 40 photos and I only found these 5 images worth posting (kind of). I added Eduard PE belts. The markings are the kit markings for Stab/Vaerbandsfuhrerschule des Generals der Jagdflieger, Bad Worishofen, 1945. Chris
David Walker
Whoa, great job on the paint! And what did you use for that mud effect on the bottom edge of the main gear doors? I'm looking for something like that.
Chris Kethan
Thanks, David. The mud on the gear doors was just some burnt umber and raw umber drybrushed fairly heavily. I brushed from the bottom edge, angling back as if the mud were splashing up while taxiing or on T/O roll. Chris
Chuck1945
Looks fine to me, nice job. I got the same type of look on the gear covers of one I built but it was from the Grau 02 being slopped on too heavily on the other side :) I like the paint job and decaling. You have a very nice 190 here.
