Ever time I see those Raptor pics my jaw still hits the floor. That was one of the most amazing demos I have ever seen. I've been to a lot of air shows, but this demo will always stick with me.

My static shots turned out great (I'll post them here sometime. I've been pretty busy), but my in-flight shots would've been cool like the rest of these here. I just didn't have a strong enough lens on my camera, and zooming and cropping just distorts them even more. We've got an airshow coming up in Santa Maria in August, so hopefully I'll have "souped up" my camera by then.

but I can say without hesitation, that seeing the Raptor fly was the most awe inspiring, almost frightening display of aviation technology I have ever seen in my life. To even think we only saw about half of the demo, and they were only flying the thing, not using all of it's weapons and technology in anger! God help anyone who actually has to fight against that thing someday.

Always good to hear.

couple of shots I got at Point Mugu on Sunday... F/A-18F's were downed at China Lake for some problem, might be why the two F/A-18F's that sat all by themselves didn't fly :yahoo:! And not one E/F on static display  I didn't get that one. I really wanted to get some good shots of the Front cockpit side panels to verify some other stuff I've got on the Super Hornet.

Humid air makes for great airshow shooting!

I like how one Fencechecker called this airshow "Vaporfest 2007". :)

Thanks Rapter Supporter!

Between a friend of mine and me we took a bunch of photo's, like over a 1000 some good, some not so good but I'm messin with m to try and get something worth looking at. I tell ya I've never seen so many L len's in my life.

This is one I've been messin with and it's looking pretty good.
