1/48 Hasegawa Hornet Question

I don't have any scale drawings here with me so I can't see specifically, but with a larger wing on the SH, I'm assuming the wingfold would run longer in chord a bit, wouldn't it? In other words, I'm assuming the SH wingfold area would be larger than the LH? :huh:

The answer would be no. The fold mechanisms are completely different for the two Hornet variants.

The wing on the SH is almost 40% bigger.
