Hector
Hi mates! I ¨m building a Corsair birdcage from tamiya, I had built the cockpit. Can I join this GB? And I´m going to choose one of this profiles. This is the last I like. Also I have this decal sheet and I like number 3. Are this planes from the USMC ? If it is I would like to join this GB. Thanks in advance. Héctor Edited May 8, 2007 by Hector
SSgtd6152
Yep good to have ya, but you can only build #86 Pappy's bird it is the only Marine Corsair on that sheet.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Well, if you're asking how to tell which planes are from the USMC, look at the aircaft description by each profile. If it says it's from a unit starting with the letters "VF-", it's Navy. If it says "VMF-" then it's USMC, the "M" standing for "Marines."
SSgtd6152
Yep, he did not have that 2nd sheet up.

jimz66
Hector that NMF looks super. Can't wait to see your next post. There was an article in FSM a ways back that had that same technique used. I think it was from 2003 or 2004. It was with a Curtiss Helldiver. Look for it.
