Daryl J.
This idea seems to fit the guidelines but before committing it, I'd like to run it past the mods first. The kitbash would involve two 1/48 Monogram Me-262's. The tail empennage of the unstarted kit would be removed and the outer wings from a failed Me-262 build would become a V-tail. The gun ports would be filled (possibly) with epoxy clay. No rescribing would be involved. Shimming of the V-tail could be accomplished with modified kit sprues rather than brass pins and styrene sheet although the latter would be preferable to me. Epoxy clay could be a substitute. Rule #2 should be easy to abide by. Yay? Nay? Either way is fine by me as the -262 could take a variety of paths to completion. Thanks for the help , Daryl J. Edited May 12, 2007 by Daryl J. Spaced Marine
Since the tail comes from another 262 and you have proposedusing sprue for the shims, I think this one will pass the bar. Unless Mike has a drothers with this, I am saying ok till then.

Daryl J.
I'm itching to dress it to the nines so rather than cause any head scratching, this particular -262 will be OOB perhaps to the point of using kit decals too. It'll be great practice for the Whiffer. Thanks for the input! Daryl J.
