How do I de-fog CA?

Recommended Posts

Hey! Did you know that CA glue can fog Acryl flat coat?

Had my cockpit fitted in, sealed with Future and then Acryl Flat Coat, stuck the resin bits in with CA....and then the main instrument panel and a few cockpit parts fogged up. :sign_boycott:

Anyway I can de-fog it without having to repaint?

Future and a flat coat should clear it up. It's not really "fogging", it's the residue from a vapour released as the CA cures - the best way to avoid it is to keep air flowing over the glue as it cures, and not to glue in enclosed/confined spaces, or with anything above the part being joined (ie, inside a fuselage, or under a canopy)
