Scalephantomphixer
Propeller, and color change for the exhaust ring: it looks now better weathered by the heat... The small glitch in it will become a bullet hole!

Scalephantomphixer
Not much progress during the Summer time... I still managed to cut out the ailerons and the slats! How I cut out the parts that need to be removed.

Mark M.
What I find amazing about Pierre, and I mean this as a true compliment, is not that he includes such detail but that he does so in complete subassemblies and never mars or ruins the previous subassemblies whilst attaching/tackling the next part. For example, there's a LOT missing from this bird, but what we see is nearly perfect. The paint, the finish, the details, all look like they're totally finished, yet the wings aren't even painted yet. What I love about Pierre is that he can perfect the finish on the fuselage, and then work on the wings without ruining the finish of the fuselage!
David Walker
Very impressive looking. I missed the earlier posts on the engine so it was great to catch up. That's some amazing paint and detail work.

Barneydhc82
Pierre: As usual, another stunning model. I did notice that your prop is decalled and finished but the back sides of the prop blades should be Flat Black without the red striping or coloured tips. In single engine aircraft, this is done to prevent flashes of reflected light blinding the pilot. ;) Regards Barney

Scalephantomphixer
Left slat. I filled the void left after the cut-out with a small styrene sheet, drilled 3 holes and glued the actuators. I will attach the slat only after the paintjob is completed.

Scalephantomphixer
At last a few progress photos. Only 3 however, the batteries went on strike. For the time being the wings are secured with two strips of tape :D The paint is a mix of Alclad white aluminum and gray ink for the stains.
