Yes, Scooters carried the AIM-9L on the outboard pylons. I believe the rails and the needed adapter are included on frame F of the Hasegawa kits? F17 is the adapter between the rail and pylon, F14 is the rail. You will need to source the Winder from elsewhere.

Hi, here's a photo of one VMA-211 A-4M carrying a captive AIM-9, taken from Superbase7 Kadena, Shogun Warriors of the Pacific (aircraft modex 24). I apologize for the poor quality of the photo, as this was taken using my digital camera (my scanner's out of order!).
