Rampage55
This is a bit of a departure for me as I usually build 1/48 fixed wing aircraft models. However one of the things that make Marines the best at what they do is thier ability to adapt. OOOH RAH! So this will be my first braille scale kit since I was a kid, and definitely my first rotor wing kit ever. Here is what I've done so far. This is a great little kit, the detail for 1/72 is very nice. Semper Fi, Mark I missed typed the squadron number in the title of this thread. It should read HMM-362 Edited June 11, 2007 by Rampage55

Rampage55
A brief update on my progress so far. The major construction is complete. I have a few external items to attach such as the hoist, various handles and antennas. I got a bit out of control with the glue on the front right nose to fuselage joint. :) The main and tail rotors are just dry fit and will be removed for painting. It's been fun building this little "egg beater". I will definitely be building more. I have an old Fujimi 1/72 CH-46E/F in the stash that I think will have a look at next. I also seem to remember an old Matchbox 1/72 AH-1 Cobra kit somewhere in the stash also...... I think I feel a whole 1/72 Leatherneck Helo series coming on. RotorheadTX
Mark, your H-34 looks really good! Positively inspiring! The weathering and panel fades are quite convincing. Well done! Tony
