ChernayaAkula
95 Mustangs? :) That must be what the word AWESOME was coined for! :) To just hear those! Hearing two at an ILA was great, but that man? AWESOME! :) Edited September 18, 2007 by ChernayaAkula
David Walker
There was mention in an aviation magazine that I was looking at in Barnes and Noble today ("Flypast" I think) that one of the new built Me 262s may be there also if it's finished up in time. That would make for an interesting in-flight display. Edited June 14, 2007 by David Walker

anotherP51nut
I'm planning to bring my Dad, who was an engine fitter with the Polish 316 and 303 Squadrons during the war. It will have been over 60 years since he's seen that many Mustangs in one place. He said apart from everything else, it will be the sound he wants to hear again most. The organizers plan to put 51 ( yes, fifty- one!!) of them in the air at once... it gives me shivers just thinking about it. I know it will be an emotional moment for him, and for the other vets who had a connection to this magnificent aircraft. Wouldn't miss this for anything. Cheers, Richard
