Ollie T-Y
Hey again, Im sorry im asking so many questions! Im going to my model shop on monday, and if they have a revell F-15E, im going to grab it. And then i got thinking "Hey, it would be cool to have to eagles breaking formation on a plinth/ display base" So, whats the best F-15C? Ive read good things about Tamiya, but i dont like raised panel lines- even if it is only a small area
dreammh
Monogram is the best. But you don't like raised lines so you have to go Hasegawa.
Ollie T-Y
Cheers !
Bobski
The Tamiya F-15C is pretty good, although not as good as Hasegawa and it has recessed panel-lines. To make an accurate recent C, you'll need a pair of featherless nozzles though. Aires do a well detailed set.
Aarzee
The Hasegawa F-15,s are a good build.I have Built the Academy F-15C also not a bad kit.The Tamiya cockpit is pretty basic with decals for instruments etc
Ollie T-Y
I dont mind buying the new cans for the Hasegawa.
dreammh
Tamiya has shape issues with the canopy. And the cockpit is bare. Academy has shape issues with the engine fairings.
BjornB17
Hasegawa! It's the best overall kit out there for an F-15C!!!
David Walker
I dont mind buying the new cans for the Hasegawa. I think you've pretty much answered your question then: go with the Hasegawa
Jonathan_Lotton
Having built the Hasegawa F-15C..I'd have to say that I would build it over the others any day. The Monogram/Revell F-15 is very nice..but I found it very difficult to build. The Hase, by comparison, was very easy to me. Go with Hase! and the Aires featherless burner cans, they look better than the "photoetch" cans offered in some of the kits.
