yeehah1
18-06-07 Just curious, but I noticed from a list i have that I buy from at times, the seller has differentiated between diffent Monogram boxings as in: Monogram 4-Star / Quality kit ('54-'65), Monogram Blue Box ('66-'69) and so on. Is there mainly a difference in quality or are some of these early kits comparable to todays stuff...are they worth having to build? And were they reboxed later in the '70's and so on? Just wondering and this IS the Monogram GB! Liam
breadboard
Of no real relevance to the kit builder, its of extreme importance to the collector. An original boxing might be worth 50 $ and the re issue 5$. May be a difference in decals, but then all old monogram decals are pretty worthless....
madmike
Hal has hit the mark fair and square! Plastic is the same, moulding in the older kits is probably better though... Box, schmox.I build 'em...well...eventually! :) MikeJ
