Thanks all. I was almost done with it when I discovered Owl did the aftermarket set! I guessed on the exhaust shroud, Owl does an extension rather than a shroud. I can't tell from pictures if theirs is more accurate than mine or not. I got the decals through FlightDecs about three years ago, I don't know if they're still available.

I've learned how a few more buttons on the camera work :) This kit was built for the DOTR group build.

1/48 Tamiya He219 with a bunch of stuff added

Hi all,

Some might recall that I build big 1/16 th scale balsa models.

The Spitfire and Bf 109 E in the BoB groupbuild. And the Catalina in the "Splash" GB.

This is also a 1/16 th balsa model...

Adding a couple of shots of my CA Vampire NF 10. I remember when I started this, thinking it wouldn't be too bad because of the small number of parts...Yes it has the same fit issues as the other Vampires from CA. Still enjoyed it though, but be aware of how the canopy fits.

Thanks for the 'heads up'. The NF 10 will be the first CA kit I attempt. I also have the Meteor NF from CA, but had already been warned that the nacelles and landinging gear are problem areas, hence the decision to do the Vampire which seemed simplier.
