Irishfan Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 Hello Everyone: I have been hiding for sometime, LOL and now I want to build what I have lying around, I have a PBY sitting in the garage, a friend of mine who passed away 2 years ago gave it to me, and I have been wanting to build it, but I want to see if I can use something besides the kit decals. does anyone make decals for the PBY-5 ???? I only build WWII era stuff, and I have had no luck finding such a set, any input and or help is appreciated. take care and thanks George Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Chris Kethan Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 George, AeroMaster made a sheet (#48-235) titled "Flying Cats Part II - US". It includes markings for 3 PBY-5's. A NAS Jacksonville plane in the 3 tone scheme, a VP-34 Black Cat, and an Atlantic tri-color scheme bird of VP-63. If you have trouble locating a sheet, you can have mine. I used the VP-34 markings, but the other two are intact. Maybe we can work a out a trade.....if not, you can have it anyway. Chris Quote Link to post Share on other sites
