Soviet 'eavy metal

Recommended Posts

Another braille scale armour build just completed.

This is the excellent Trumpeter 1:72 JS-3M kit. No issues during construction whatsoever and was painted using a combination of Ceramcoat, Vallejo and Citadel acrylics. Metal finish was achieved using Humbrol Polished Steel.

The base was done using foam, wall plaster and Woodland Scenics flocks. The wall coming from the useful Italeri 1:72 Diorama range.

Once the JS-3M was based, I used earth tone pastel chalks to blend both tank and base together.

Hope you like seeing this "target". Now I will go and fight with my Monogram B-1B :P

Nice model!

I really love to see those nice 'n' weathered tanks and some nice diorama's...

But don't run over to the "dark side of modelling" though!
