Question for the mods.

Recommended Posts

I am almost done my first build. A 1/48 Hasegawa Sea King, Royal Canadian Navy 1963.

I would like to do one more helicopter this year and wonder if its acceptable.

Reasons it might not be: It was origanally bought and used by the Royal Canadian Air force until the merger of the 3 services.

Reasons it might be acceptable:

Search and rescue, the one I plan on building was mostly used over Lake Ontario/ Erie and Huron, just like the United States Coast Guards mission.

Its a CH-46 just like the USN and Marines used but we call it the CH-113 Labrador.

You guys need a bright yellow and red tandom rotor helicopter on the completed build page.

Is the CH-113 Labrador acceptable for this group build?

First build photos of my Sea King are sent in.

Sure hope a Labrador (Search and rescue) is acceptable. really want to crack the plastic on this one.

Ok, the helo sounds good to me, just have to ask the other mods first.

Who did you send your build pics to?

Jake

Julien all ready posted them.

I'll be picking up the Lab tomorrow. Might even get some photo etch after seeing how nice Smitheries is turning out on another thread.
