untouchable
I'm almost finished with my current Viper build and I'm gonna start on an F-5 II Tiger and want to do something different. I'm thinking of a the fictional Mig 28 from Top Gun. I'm going to make it in flight so I can later build an F-14 and place it in the classic "inverted" position...any suggestions on the shade of black I should use? I thought about using either flat black with a small amount of gloss mixed in with it or just a satin finish.. any thoughts would be helpful. illithid00
I'd use a slightly faded black and then give it a satin overcoat after decaling and weathering.
gatorbuc
I would use RLM satin black, I believe it is RLM 22. Pollyscale makes a good one. You could also use Scale Black for a slightly very very dark grey/black for some definition (faded paint look)
