G'Day Boscosticks. Since nobody else'll answer you, I will. I've a home-made compressor. It has only the one air-tank. The (ex-truck brake) tank is filled by the (ex-fridge) compressor pusling the air into it. I tap-off the air in the tank is a smooth flow (as opposed to the pulsing). Between the tank and the spraygun is a pressure regulator-and-moisture-trap assembly. This system works well for me (in fact for the past 15 years). I cannot see a need or logical reason for a second tank. Perhaps to gather the dried air before feeding it to the gun?

I recommend that you ask the dealer to explain the difference between the single-tank and the dual-tank designs, and to demonstrate the two.

Good luck. George, out........................
