They are coming and now you can order your AH-1G canopy

Recommended Posts

Finally the Vacu-formed 1/32nd scale Replacement canopy for the 1/32nd scale AH-1G Revell/ Monogram kits are being released. The canopies are now on their way to the USA. I am accepting orders at this time.

They were formed by Falcon Canopies from New Zealand and mastered by Dave Lockead from Kiwi Resin. Now it will be possible to add a canopy to your big scale Cobra that has the proper bulges, correct framework, and is realistically thin and crystal clear. This is a limited edition of 400. I’m not sure if there will be a second pressing. Get yours while they last.

Ask the Chief Snake (Chris Miller of Cobra Company) what he thought of them.

Cost will be $7.00 US each plus shipping.

Domestic US & APO/FPO shipments:

The cockpits will now be shipped by First Class Mail. The postage & handling charge will remain $4 for any quantity up to a quantity of 10 then $7.

Priority Mail can be specified for any order. The charge for Priority Mail will be $7 for any order.

International shipments:

Cockpits will be charged the First Class Mail International rate plus US$1, with a minimum of US$5.

Please inquire directly at fwernerjr@comcast.net for the charge for your order.

Each canopy will be securely packed in a corrugated box to ensure it arrives safely.

If you are using PayPal, log in, select send money, my address is

fwernerjr@comcast.net

Send the required amount. If you have a question email me at the same email and we can discuss it. I'll send the canopies when they arrive.

I also take checks and money orders. Cash is okay but not preferred.

Floyd,

Order placed, thanks!

Now that you've had such "smashing success" with the 1/32 AH-1G, would you consider doing a 1/35 canopy for the Academy AH-1W?

As Froghorn Leghorn would say, "That was a joke son, that was just a joke". (kind of)

Funny, I was wondering if it would fit on a W. We just saw a 1/35 W nose spliced onto a 1/32 G. I wonder if the canopies are close enough to the same size. Real life I think the G, J, T, and W (except for NTS) canopies are the same. Did the G glass buldge a little more?

Here are the links for the photos. I tried to post them here but for some reason the ARC won't let me post JPEGs. Unable to upload files with that extension.
