nataku43
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am planning to sculpt 1/35 figures for my model, but I would like to know which is the best clay or sculpting material that someone could recommend. Also what tools should i use to sculpt with. This will be my first time attempting this. Thanks
dragonfly
Try Apoxie Sculpt from a company called Aves. It's a 2 part material with a 2 hr. working time. It dries rock hard, easy to sand and scribes cleanly. Wonderfull stuff! Jerry

kenlilly106
I like Super Sculpey, it doesn't set until you bake it in the oven, so you can take your time when sculpting. Ken
T-bone
If you are going to try to sculpt miniatures, I would recommend Kneadatite Putty commonly called Green Stuff. This is a very fine grained epoxy that dries in a few hours. It is one of the more common materials use for sculpting miniatures and readily available. I have used Sculpty in the past as a practice material but use green stuff for actual miniatures. There are numerous sites online regarding sculpting miniatures.
