ian lanc Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 hi all, i've just glued my wing landing light into position only to find later the glue had run behind and sent it horrible :o , i was going to paint the entire thing silver to show it is a light , did it it looks CRAP :( . is there any other ways of replicating plastic parts to look like glass ? . any tips most welcome,... ian. what the heck i did not write that phrase 'clear glass my mamma hates me up, ggrrrrrr !!. Sand them back with very fine grades, give them a dunk in Future (or local equivalent) and then attach with a clear cement (white glue, watch crystal cement etc).
