Very Sad News from the UK

Recommended Posts

That's new makes me almost ill. Not to dismiss the loss of the pilot god bless but also an historical plane

BD707 just had an extensive 6 month rebuild last fall in Duxford and was recovered and repainted in RCAF 402 Sqdr colors. I only just made it's maiden flight in May (9th?). Several former WWI RCAF pilots traveled to Duxford to witness the flight.

A sorry loss of both pilot and plane

Once again very bad news . Seems 2007 isn't favourable to airshows and WWII planes at all . And another RAF fighter, after the Dutch Spitfire earlier this month, luckily without casualties . And what a blooded week 5 dead at Reno, Colin McRae and now BD707 .

More info on the Hurricane :
