geedubelyer
WOW! :D That's marvellous. It must be fantastic to be able to build from scratch and make it look so crisp. Any efforts I've ever done are out of square and amateurish. Respect!
blackhawk7
ooo.. ahhhhhh! If he had built that from a kit, I would say he's an excellent modeler, but the fact that it's scratchbuilt...

viper494
Well with a bit of searching i found this, its big i can tell you but just how big i have no idea. The plane in the back ground is 1/18 scale so it could be 1/24 or something else, but its not new for this year as these pic's where taken in 2005 at the same event. I would like one of these aswell aslong as the price was right, anyway i will keep on searching till i find one. Cheers Clive. Expat Tomcat
I am also very curious.... so somebody do something quick before we riot! Ok, I guess the line forms here! I saw a really detailed R/C F-14 on YouTube, unfortunately it augered itself into the ground.
Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Ok, this is making more sense. I've seen that VF-84 'model' before. It's from a 'museum quality' manufacturer and it custom made. It goes for something like $12,000 IIRC. There's been a thread about it here a long time ago and it pops up on ebay occasionally. I'm going the RC - converted to static scale model at some point. -brian Edited September 22, 2007 by Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Midnight Storm
Ok I'll try to find it tonight for you guys. I got it about 10 years ago at Toys "R" Us for about $124 bucks. It's a highly detailed model to begin with and with a few scratch built parts & a paint job, it can be same level of detail in the photos show.
Youngtiger1
WoW!! Love those Cats. I sure would love to see/read about the build. Very nice. Mike
