atckyrre
These pics were taken during the Midnight Sun Air show last year, at Bardufoss AFB. The show lasted until midnight, if I remember correctly the F-16-pics were taken around 10pm.

GreyGhost
Very Nice, that would be awesome to see an airshow at midnight and still have enough light to see it ! Thanks for sharing ! Gregg
atckyrre
Thanks guys. Just as an indication this picture was taken approximately at midnight if I remember correctly. And while we're at it, here are some other pics, most taken earlier same evening: Edited September 23, 2007 by atckyrre
Tiger27
That's about midnigh alright. Guys remember, that's almost at 70 North. I think Bardufoss is at 68 or something like that. And at midsummer, the sun never sets. It does not from late may to late july. and still before/after that it's light 24/7 for most of may and well into august. The winter is a little diffrent, it's a dusky kind of grayish light from about 10AM to about 1:00 PM, before and after that it's all night. At Bardufoss this lasts from late november to late january. Further north it gets less light the further north you go, at Northcape it's virtually no light at all for a cupple of months. Nydlige bilder Kyrre

atckyrre
Do the RNoAF MLU F-16's still have the ability to use the Penguin ASM? They can do them again but mostly they don't. The last update included software for the penguin, while the one before that left it out... go figure. K
