FAR148
It has been a long time since I posted anything on my Sandhawg. Well here she is as of July 3, 2008. I drop the scratchbuilt LGB idea after destorying two trying to cast them. So I'm going with two GBU-12 and two cluster bombs. They is a tonmore detail I'm going to do but just not now, It's Airshow season. Here's my IAF A-10I "Chazir" as of July 3, 2008. Until later, Steven L
martin_sam_2000
Looks great!!! Thats too bad about the LGB's, they were a pretty neat little item. I can't wait to see what other detail you can add to this!!! looking forward to the end, Sean

ssculptor
Really a great read! I work in 1/32 scale and now I finally know what to do with Trumpeters two seat A-10 kit I have lying around in my stash. I'll make the Israeli version of it. A great project. Other Israeli whatifs will be the Canadian F-86 in Israeli colors of the 1956 era. Canada was going to sell a bunch of these to Israel but President Eisenhower nixed the deal. Another that actually happened, sort of, is the French Squadron of F-84's that wore the Israeli insignia and markings of an imaginary Israeli Squadron at the beginning of that short Suez Canal war of '56. After a few days they repainted back to their own French markings. Lots of fun to be had.

sv51macross
Another Q, in with that white plastic gold you're hoarding for yourself are those GE-F110s or P&W F-100s? And since it is a Pheonix pallet, shouldn't you use the streamlined front one? Edited October 15, 2008 by sv51macross
