Flankerman
Nice photos Tim. Where were you when you took them - at the left-hand end of the crowdline - or closer ?? Ken - who was in the VIP stand a few yards back from crowdline and shooting into the hazy sun... http://www.flankers-site.co.uk/mos2007_day06.html

ChernayaAkula
Fantastic photos! Thanks for sharing those with us! Would anybody happen to know what the five-round pods on the inboard stations on this Mi-28 contain? They seem to be very long. Might they contain two rounds per tube? Or a BVR ATGM () - or even AAM?

Might they contain two rounds per tube? Or a BVR ATGM () - or even AAM? Its B-13V, helicopter version of B-13 FFAR pod, contain 5 122 mm unguilded missiles, like on other hardpoint fitted B8-V20A - helicopter version B-8 FFAR pod.

kotey
Thanks for the info, kotey! Are these newly developed pods? I can't recall having seen those before. Not at all, B-13L pod (with conical head section) used starting 1983, it is same pod, but with demounted nose aerodinamic spinner.
