andyman_1970
The 2007 edition of the Fayetteville airshow was a small mid week affair, maybe 2000 in attendace. The performers for the show consisted of Matt Younkin in his Beech model 18, Phillip Butcher in his SNJ, and the Canadian Snowbirds. It was a real treat to see the Snowbirds at such a small show and be able to get as close as we did. Stay tuned I'll post more in the next few days.............
GreyGhost
Nice shots Andrew ! Any particular reason why it was scheduled for mid-week ? Anniversary, etc ? Gregg
andyman_1970
Thanks Grey Ghost. Not a clue why it was mid week, maybe because the folks at F'ville couldn't swing a full on show this year. It was nice for a small and short (maybe an hour and a half) show. The lighting was awesome in the late afternoon early evening, and the background is nice as well so I'm certianly looking forward to more airshows at Drake field.
