GreyGhost
Been cleaning out some old pics....found these bookendsThe first Tomcat I ever saw up close, 1987 - can't say for certain, but believe it was from Saratoga <.....> Chris If it was from Super Sara, it was most likely a VF-74 BeDevilers jet ... J.Stone
Feels like a Tomcat pic posting sort of day... Hard to believe it's been five years since VF-103 gave up their last two Tomcats. Edited February 4, 2010 by J.Stone
Jinxter13
Hard to believe it's been five years since VF-103 gave up their last two Tomcats. A mistake of monumental proportions.... :)

DutyCat
Who Let The Dogs Out! Those pics are nice, but I do not like the lighter blue. The darker, Navy blue is better, IMO.

TaiidanTomcat
That VF-33 Tomcat really stands out, I don't know why but it is just really appealing.
Andrew Maverick Taylor
Beautiful pics guys!On the pics of VF-31 (the ones with the "E" award in the bomb), there is another logo a little forward and down.....looks like it has the Tomcat with a flag maybe? Does anyone have a close up of that logo? You asked about the tomcat and flag emblem close up? well here you go. This is AJ101 CAG jet from VF-31 on the final cruise. Clearly it says Just win Baby!! Enjoy. http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...b554fda4c08179b Obviously the picture is from airliners.net so all credit and acknowledgment to the author. Hope this helps. John Krukowski
Does anyone have any images of the VF-124 1976 Bicentennial Tomcat? Im doing this a/c for the Tomcat GB, and would love to see pictures of the real thing. Just found these for another guy on "Jet Modeling" last night, thought of posting 'em here too, and now I notice your request of 1/15/09 so your model's probably done & dusty by now but here they are anyway... Found on Google Images by searching "VF-124 Bicentennial": John

John Krukowski
F-14's on youtube... VF-213 "home movies"...some pretty good aerial footage in here: Jolly Rogers Tribute...mostly (nice) still shots but well done: (A few hiccups in the very beginning-just during the cat shot.) Last Time, Baby...a strange presentation but cool F-14 content: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkqrQWNELuo "Loaded for Bear", literally! Thought I'd throw a photo in too: John
Andrew Maverick Taylor
Been there, seen it, worn the T-shirt, drank out the mug, smelt the jet fuel and been burned by Zone5 afterburner!! Got all that footage on dvd and more than you care to wish for. That last video by Captain Lagos is a really wierd one. Great footage though. The other stuff from VF-213 and VF-103 was actually published on video on their last cruises before the big cat bowed out in 2006. A friend of mine from Oceana provided me with stuff from 213, 103, 32 and 31 aswell as a double disc set called Fighter Fling featuring videos from all squadrons dating back to the old days right up to 2004. I guess most of that by now is on youtube. Thanks for the post. TOMCATS ROCK! Though I should throw my penny in!

John Krukowski
dose any body hear have pictures of the lions head painted f-14d that was on the yellow hammer sheet? I'm guessing you mean the one on this sheet? Sorry, I couldn't find any photos myself, but maybe this'll help someone who can. If I find anything I'll post it here. BTW~Here's someone else's job of it: http://hsfeatures.com/f14did_1.htm I stumbled on this, never knew of it: http://modelingmadness.com/scotts/mod/us/f14dpreview.htm John Edited March 15, 2010 by John Krukowski
