VAQ-136 Gauntlets - Tail color close up. This is the only color applied to the aircraft.

When did VAQ-136 become part of CVW-2 ? I thought they were assigned to CVW-9 ? What VAQ squadron is in CVW-9 then ?!!

They recently moved from CVW-9 to CVW-2 so that VAQ-131 could begin the Growler transition later this spring. CVW-9's website has just been updated, showing VAQ-133 Wizards as being back in the airwing. Last year it was released that -133 would go to CVW-8 after transition, but Bush/CVW-8 just deployed with VAQ-134.

I've noticed in this shot (the USS Ronald Reagan lettering) and several others in this Thread that the stencils on current Navy and Marine Corps aircraft are now being done in a commercial font, instead of the old 60 degree slant lettering that was used for years, and is called for in the -2161B. Does anyone know what font it being used now?

Speculation in a Facebook group has it as an AN/AWW-13 Advanced Data Link pod, but it's missing all of the exterior detail and paneling:
