Jinxter13
If there is a Phantastic Phantom more Phamous than "Showtime 100" would someone please tell me what it is. The USAF answer would be "Chico" ( I think), I don't know about the Marines, or other nations Phantoms.

The USAF answer would be "Chico" ( I think), I don't know about the Marines, or other nations Phantoms. The Marines one would be the Shamrock that got the only Marine MiG kill in Vietnam in my opinion.

GreyGhost
Yes Ray, those are both of 'Showtime 100' ... Photos would be most likely from 1969 and 1970 respectively ... The top photo at Moffet is fairly common but the second shot, not so much ... Thanks for sharing those ... Gregg Edited January 12, 2010 by GreyGhost

Boman
Nope, the last one is Bu.no. 155580, while the first two are Bu.no. 155800
GreyGhost
Nope, the "Famous" Showtime 100 was BuNo 155800 ... The one you have just posted is 155580, probably chosen for it's similar BuNo as a replacement ... The original was of course lost during the famous Triple Kill mission of May 10th, 1972 ... Nice photo ... Gregg

Julien (UK)
I always love seeing RN Phantoms ... :D Gregg I might be biased but the RN scheme is my favorite, follwed by RAF Grey/Green and then the USN/USMC Grey/White. Julien
