The North Dakota Bicentennial scheme - anyone have more photos of 66-7498 in this scheme?

Nice, I have Fujimi kit G-2 Wolf Pack (1/72 F-4C/D) and it has these decals added to it. I think it was a bonus as they are wrapped separatly and there is a sticker on the box saying "North Dakota Centennial".

HTH,

Andre

That's one of my hometown Phantoms - BA tailcode was the 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, Bergstrom AFB. I grew up with those Phantoms overhead. Sad to know they're being converted to drones, but I suppose aluminum cans would be sadder.

Brand new painted Norm81A Phantom at Wittmund :coolio:/>

This Phantom is one of two retro Phantoms at Wittmund. The other one is 38+10 which is painted in Norm72 standard.

Phantom flying at Wittmund will end June 30th 2013. That's why they came up with these retro Phantoms.

I think the paintshop at Jever did a really great job!

In the evening I was able to take this shot in opposite light which turned out to be quite nice.

I'm plotting out my 1/72 USAF Air Superiority shelf and right now and arbitrarily limiting myself to Vietnam. Have a Revell F-22 all alone right there now but will be adding an F-15C (probably Hasegawa) soon. Next after that would be an F-4, so need the suggestion on the most appropriate model. Right now leaning on F-4E but maybe you gents can school me on another model that might be more appropriate, or perhaps confirm that selection and suggest the brand and kit, if not the most appropriate scheme/squadron. If/when I get to the Navy side, it will likely be the Showtime 100 F-4J, for example. Thanks!
