Recommended Posts

I got to visit the Naval Aviation Museum last week while in Pensacola. I had to shoot a few of the F-4N on display. Don M.

Time for some more Phabulous Phantoms I think.

Some that I saw during my trip last year.

Stumbled across these pics from an El Toro air show in the early 90's. I think this airframe is at Miramar now...

Here are some photos I got of an F-4 Phantom on display in Tulare CA, its just off Highway 99 North. I managed to get some detail shots of the engines and landing gear for all you hard core scratchbuilders out there. :lol: The only downside is I'm not sure which type of Phantom this is, I'll leave it up to you guys to figure it out!

Thank you for posting these beauties...

A very select few know exactly how many Blackbirds were ever built, but counting the ones around the globe in museums there can't be to many that have met the executioner...(see tail #17958)

:coolio: you always beat me :worship:

:thumbsup::worship:

How do you know it's not a D?

Curt

The F-4D has an extra "buldge" on the chin pod that the F-4C don't have.
