David Walker
Great photos. That's a big airplane.
cmhjets
The A-380 is very impressive, but not very elegant, especially the nose. I'm sure they draw a crowd wherever they go.
PlasticWeapons
Here's my very small pic of the A380 today on Friday, 2:45PM. If you look really closely, you can see it (right above the truck) with a Hornet chasing it. LOL. Sorry, I was hoping it would fly closer to my work - it did but I missed it by about a minute! But I did get to see it fly! Since the Blue Angels were in town too, they sent a couple of Hornets up to fly alongside the Airbus while it circled the city and headed off somewhere else! That jet is HUGE but not C-5 huge.

Anyone care to verify? Kev
Dr. Tran
How long is it in town?
Flankerman
How long is it in town? Same length as it is in the air ! Sorry - couldn't resist. Ken

jiawei_91
Neat bit of numbers. How does 8 feet look like in the air?

eng
Nice pic's, but if that plane gets a nickname like the A-7 "SLUF" or the B-52 "BUFF" it might go something like this - U.......G.......L...........Y!!!! Eng
Tony P
This the same one coming to Melbourne Australia on Wednesday?

Tony P
http://www.melbourneairport.com.au/passeng...item.asp?id=414 They have re-oponed the observation deck. Tempted. It is the one in the photos above which is visiting Melbourne. It has "Engine Alliance GP7000" engines. Engine Alliance is GE & PW. Aggressor Supporter
Nice pics taken wingman47. The pics really captures the size of this plane.
alien
If anyone interested, a 380 Airbus is suppose to land in Montreal on November 12 2007 Stephen :o :o :D
Tony P
They've started regular public transport services between Singapore and Sydney now.
Raceaddict
If anyone interested, a 380 Airbus is suppose to land in Montreal on November 12 2007 And supposedly she'll stay here for a couple of days. And I agree with the earlier poster who mentioned the unattractive nose. My wife and I were watching the docu-series about the A380 on Discovery last week and from the very first images of her design I couldn't help but think the same. It looks very "neanderthal". Yann Solo
I was in P-E Trudeau Airport last week when that big bird came in. It's a very impressive plane. Here are a couple of shots. This is just before I left for Hannover Germany. And look what I found when I was up there: This is all new to me. It will be the first Airliner model of my life and I have no clue if there is any aftermarket kit available. I'm usually an Armor builder and occasionnally a modern jet builder too, so I like to superdetail. What are my options, if there is any?
kinnies
Hi, I just got my paws on my first A380 (still waiting for another to come) all dressed up for Emirates. Twosixdecals.co.uk has just released a decal for Singapore and JBot does a cool flight of fancy for Canadian - that'll be one big old goose. This is my first choice for sure! Unfortunately, JBot seems to be out of commission for the time being, so I haven't gotten one yet. Hopefully someone will do Qantas soon. If this is your first airliner, be sure to check out airlinercafe.com Tons and tons of useful info. I build airliners almost exclusively and pretty crappily, but have learned a hell of a lot. DavidGreer
Doesn´t make any noise and is not a "Beauty". Must be a Blimp....
Big Kev
Hopefully someone will do Qantas soon. Someone already does, as I've seen them on eBay Australia. Problem is, I can no longer find the ad, or remember who the company was (Hawkeye? Novascale?). As soon as I find out I'll post back here with the info. Kev

Proposed Qantas scheme. Here's the link to their civilian aircraft decals page: http://www.hawkeyemodels.com.au/FramesetCivilian.htm And here's the scheme in question: http://www.hawkeyemodels.com.au/preview-pages/CDS-111.htm Kev
Tony P
Just a warning on those decals above. That scheme will never be worn by a Qantas aircraft as they have updated the livery. Never fear, Scotty is working on the updates to be released by Hakeye in the near future. Discussed here: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....126464&st=
