I wish I had a picture of it but as we were taxiing away from the terminal at Pearson, I saw an Air Canada jet (I think it was a 767) with a really neat paint scheme. The jet was NMF and painted and marked as an old Trans Canada Air Lines painted very much to look like the DC-3 in this photo...

It was really impressive and very nostalgic...

There's an A319 with that scheme i was just loading here a couple weeks ago. It's got some 50 year commerative markings on it, nice looking plane.

An extremely low and loud RAF Apache Longbow buzzed right over our farm yesterday lunchtime, happened quite a lot over the last few weeks. They're are low enough to see the markings on them!

I saw what I think was a Sea King helicopter flying around here today. It had civilan numbers on it though. It was red and white.

I later saw a C-130 flying over my house.

You mean other than the obligatory 150s and PA28s?. Well two Stinson 108s, an L-19, some guys putting the wings back on a glider, a Veri-eaze, two home builts I couldn't identify, a couple of ultra lights and a Piper Pacer with a Ford V-8 in it. In addition to the 150 I was finishing the Annual on.

Last Thursday as I was riding home west of Shinjuku, Japan, on my bicycle, at about 2100 or so, I heard a loud racket and looked up and saw two helicopters. From the shape, they looked like H-60s, but the sound seemed a bit different. What was interesting was one was all lit up with the ACLs but the other was flying darkened, without lights. They were pretty close to the ground, much lower than usual, perhaps about 1000' or lower.

Best wishes,

Grant

^ Nice piccies, Mumbles! :jaw-dropping:

A genuine AH-64 flew over our house today!:cheers:

That's quite the rarity in central Germany. Now, who would it belong to? It didn't have the mast-mounted radar, but it did have "pods" of some kind on the tips of the stub wings. Hellfire launchers inboard, FFAR pods outboard and these pods on the tips. So maybe a Dutch Apache with AMASE pods? Anyone?

Sentimental Journey flying over my house this morning. It will be at the Havasu airport over the weekend along with some other aircraft. I and my good friend and fellow ARCer...and landlord will be over there tomorrow checking things out and taking pics...lots.

Cheers

I was outside in the garden then I spotted 3 Apaches flying over the sea and heading somewhere to Pisa->Camp Derby.

Quite rare to see them, some years ago a couple of Hips and a single Hind passed over my house,I think that the Apaches were just looking for them

Took the bike for a ride and watched the 143rd Air Wing, C-130J play around for a few hours. 2 of them are still in air right now playing in the dark.

Base is not to far from my house so I can see them fly pretty easy from the beach here. Was cool earlier they were doing some cool banking like they usually do.

Ken Middleton gave me the heads up, that this might be sitting at TF Green Airport. So when I dropped my kid off at school, took my camera with me for the ride to have a look. I live 2 miles off the northend of the airport.

Mexican Air Force 727, no clue who is up here. Noted: was pea soup out side

Had the pleasure of getting buzzed by an E-2 today...haven't seen one of those around here for quite a while. Was out loading up stuff in my mom's car and heard this funky-sounding prop noise, looked up and sure enough, there it was .
