Sentry30
Seen two A-4N's in CYFB yesterday, At least I think they where. Awful noisy, and I don't think I'd do a trans atlantic ferry this time of year in a single seat plane... C-FGZH made it into EGPK from BIKF today. Believe it's expected at ETNT on Monday. Netz
Actually yesterday, Jan 1st. Went bike riding with the kids, we were sitting on top of a small hill as usual, heard a prop driven a/c flying by, spotted it, nothing uncommon, heard some jet noise, spotted it B-2 nothing uncommon, watched it make a big circle over Lockheed, then heard another jet sound, and a 2nd B-2 flew in joined up and they headed out of sight, wishing I had my camera. Ishthe47guy
Etihad 777F almost home. I was taking some shots outside of the worlds fastest roller coaster when it flew by... Look close and you can see it on the runway in the background, along with 3 other planes headed to the runway for TO.

Winnie
Here is one that's been visiting CYFB (Iqaluit/Frobisher Bay) this past week, Did some test flying today after a 3 day cold-soak at -36 or so Celcius. and I believe Air Canada wants it bad. Still on N reg and cold weather testing though.
Pete
This tired old Mi-2. A former East German one, flew for a while with the Luftwaffe after reunification, and now owned by some maritime school, I believe. Apart from some missing instruments, deflated tires, a damaged fueltank and a window that popped in a bit, it didn't look that bad. Someone should take care of it and put it inside. It will probably just slowly rust away, I'm afraid, if not vandalized to bits first. Sad.
Moose135
A Giant arrives in CLT. Atlas Air 744 passenger jet arrives from Cancun Monday afternoon. It flew from CLT to CUN on a charter Friday morning. We get Atlas freighters in from time to time, but it's rare to see one of their few pax 747s here. Ryan Hothersall
Dylan, I think Qantas are only doing 6-8 flights to yvr.
dylan
you are right Ryan, Qantas was only here for the rainiest/foggiest 4 weeks of the year.
Ryan Hothersall
Nice photo Dylan, Since I was last in Vancouver, seems Central mountain have upgraded to a dash 8. All I saw were their Beech 1900s.

AX 365
While lying in the sun in Fort Myers Beach, I've seen a number of airliners flying into RSW but when landing there on Saturday 24 January, around noon, I saw a KC-135 parked at the NW corner of the airport. On Tuesday afternoon, I saw either an A-6 or an EA-6B flying in over the beach. Unfortunately, no photos.
Moose135
I'm betting you saw an EA-6B - the A-6 is retired.
AX 365
I'm betting you saw an EA-6B - the A-6 is retired. Ok then. Thanks Moose. I have no idea what's in stock and discontinued anymore. Mike
tdogg
The other day saw an Air France 772 that diverted to YHZ, wasn't out spotting so no pics in fact I was driving and it was early morning. Wasn't sure what I saw until I got home and checked flight aware. I am hoping to get out with my camera soon while I still have this nice winter light (the only thing I like about this season)

AX 365
Again, no photos, but about 10 minutes ago, a B-17 was flying north along Fort Myers Beach. I couldn't make out any markings as she was against the sun. A quick inter web search, after ogling the B-17 for a few minutes, showed that the Collings Foundation's 'Nine-o-Nine' is on tour in the Naples area. Unfortunately we're headed back to Ottawa in the morning so going for a quick look - see is out of the question. I've made a note to myself to check the calendar for next year. Moose135
The Donald was in town today to speak at some business convention. I caught him here two years ago for the same convention - it was snowing here that day! This year, the snow isn't due until Monday night... Insel operates a weekly flight on Saturdays, although times seem to be more of a "suggestion" than a schedule... Finally! This was the only US special scheme I hadn't shot already. Now it will be here every day... NC ANG C-130 arriving on 18L US Airways Heritage scheme A321 Who knew CLT had a Space Shuttle spotting area? I'm still not a fan of the new AA colors, but at least they don't look hideous on a 757.
